Side has the landscape that allows many kind of sports like
mountaineering , trekking , skiing , rafting, golfing, parasailing,
underwater diving, swimming, boating, motorcycling ,tennis ,
windsurfing and fishing. During summer time no motor trafficking is
allowed downtown and you need to walk about 1 km to reach to sea.
There is a diving school located in the town of Kas which offers classes for diving otherwise you can check by the harbor for local diving courses.
The sea water temperature in winter does not gets less than 15 ° C .The temperatures are lower on the mountains. You can go on the mountains on horses and also camels are there in Side.
A close by ski resort is also present for skiing at
Saklikent. Geography:
The altitude for the skiing areas is between 2000-2400m, with a snow
depth between 0.5-1m and a short season. There are some 10 golf courses in Turkey. For Golf many professional courses are also developed by international teams of Golf architects, consultants and PGA professional.
