Aspendos
is a gigantic
amphitheatre of Roman Civilization preserved in its original form.
It
is most predominant of the Asia Minor. It is large and a wall and a
mote separated it from the mainland. You can have the view of the city from the Amphitheatre.
There are colossal ruins of a theater complex built much like a Roman amphitheater that relies on arches to support the sheer verticals.
It was constructed in the Hellenistic period ,it is largest of Turkey. Some of the opera ,ballet, musical concerts are held here in the month of June and July. Space for sitting of 15000 people are present. The design of Amphitheatre are of Romans.
